Two back-to-back earthquakes have left communities across Venezuela forever changed. Thousands of families have lost loved ones, homes, and a sense of stability. Thousands of children are reported without a home or family to return to.
We are grateful for everyone who has reached out asking how to help. Even in moments like these, hope rises when people choose compassion and care.
While rescue efforts continue, the long work of recovery and rebuilding is only beginning.
Thousands of families are displaced. Communities are grieving. And the needs for food, shelter, medical care, and basic hygiene are greater than what any single organization can carry alone.
As Good Shepherd, we have an opportunity to ignite hope through prayer, trusted partnerships, and practical support in the weeks and months ahead. Below are some of the ways we can respond together.
Good Shepherd is partnering with DHH Church in Venezuela
to support displaced families now living in temporary camps
as communities begin the long journey of recovery.
One of the greatest needs right now is hygiene supplies
to help preserve health and dignity for people who lost everything.
Our goal: 300 hygiene kits for these families.
Throughout the coming weeks, donation boxes will be available
at all Good Shepherd campuses.
Requested Items:
● Bar soap
● Toothbrushes
● Travel-size toothpaste

● Travel-size shampoo

● Travel-size hand sanitizer
● Oral rehydration salt packets
This page will be updated as needs evolve. Check back for new ways to help, and share this page with anyone who's been asking how they can respond.
