Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. At Good Shepherd, our care groups provide a safe and supportive community to walk with you through grief, addiction, caregiving, and more. Here, you’ll find understanding, encouragement and practical tools to help you along the way. Explore our groups below and discover how faith and community can make all the difference.
Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s can be challenging, but you don’t have to walk it alone.
Our Alzheimer’s Support Group provides a compassionate space for caregivers and family members to share experiences and gain practical guidance. Join us as we come together in faith and community to support one another.
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief.
Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way. The support group will be facilitated by Richard Beatty. Richard has been facilitating GriefShare at Good Shepherd for over 3 years. There is no cost for GriefShare.

This group is for anyone whose life has been touched by cancer—whether you're currently in treatment, in remission, or walking alongside a loved one. This will be a safe, faith-centered space to share stories, offer encouragement, pray together, and find strength in community.
The support group will be led by cancer survivor Tiffany Hermsen and will meet at our Gladstone campus once a month beginning July 14th from 6:30-8:00pm.
If you have questions for Tiffany, you can reach her at tiffanyhermsen@gmail.com
