It has always been Good Shepherd's goal to keep everyone safe! That is why we have updated our Safe Sanctuary standards to a new program recommended by the Missouri Conference of the UMC called Safe Gatherings. Everyone who works with, would like to work with, or comes into contact with children or vulnerable adults will be required to complete training for this new program. The new curriculum includes online as well as in-person safety protocols. By participating in the training session and completing the quiz and background check, you will be certified for three years. This is a FREE training, however, the background check does cost Good Shepherd $12. You may make a donation HERE if you would like to cover the cost of your background check.

2. Complete the quiz HERE. This is open-book; you can refer to the video and/or the PowerPoint as needed.
