This Month at Good Shepherd!
June is here, and summer at Good Shepherd is just getting started! VBS prep is well underway and Summer Workshops are right around the corner! We’re so excited for new opportunities to connect, grow, and have some serious fun this summer. Whether you’re looking to serve, learn, or simply connect with others, there’s something for everyone. Keep scrolling, you won’t want to miss what’s coming up!

June 12th: What does it really mean to “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” if you don’t even have boots to begin with? Join us to learn about the hidden complexities of homelessness and the systems designed to serve, or fail, those in need. If you’ve ever wondered what real change could look like, this conversation is for you.

June 15th: This Father’s Day, we’re leaning all the way into the dad jokes, and celebrating the guys who deliver them! Join us as we honor dads, grandpas, bonus dads, and father figures of every kind. You won’t want to miss Father’s Day at Good Shepherd!

June 16th: In a world that rarely slows down, what would it feel like to simply be still with God? This is more than a workshop- it’s a quiet invitation to rest, reflect, and reconnect with God’s presence. Whether you’re brand new to contemplation or just ready for a spiritual reset, we’d love to have you!

June 19th: At Good Shepherd, we believe every person should be seen, valued, and celebrated.
Juneteenth is celebrated as the true day of freedom for all enslaved people! Each year on June 19th, we pause to reflect on our nation’s history and honor the resilience, strength, and voices of Black Americans. Join us as we remember, learn, and continue working toward a more just and loving world- together.

June 22nd – 25th: Don’t miss VBS at Good Shepherd! Your preschool–5th grade children are invited to four unforgettable evenings packed with games, music, crafts and Bible stories all while discovering how to love like Jesus! Register before 10PM on June 8th to order our 2025 VBS shirts!

June 22nd – 25th: Looking for a way to ignite hope this summer? VBS is your chance to leave a lasting impact with kids in our community! Whether you’re leading a group, helping with activities, or offering a warm welcome, your time and energy can make a real difference.

This Sunday, we explored the complicated world of villains. How brokenness, pain, and choices can blur the line between good and evil. Even in the story of Judas, we saw Jesus’ deep compassion and His hope for all of us. If you missed Sunday’s sermon we invite you to watch it below, and join us this Sunday as we continue our series Entourage!
