If you’d like to sign up or learn more about baptism simply visit the link below or stop by the Connections Table this weekend!

Monday, September 22nd: Ever wonder why people read the same Bible verse and see something different? Or why there are so many translations? Join us September 22nd from 6:30–8:30pm at our North Oak Campus for ‘Where Are My Reading Glasses? Lenses That We View the Bible Through’ – the first in a series of monthly workshops, designed to help us explore scripture on a deeper level!

Sunday, September 28th: We’re inviting you to a laid-back, 4-week journey to dive into who we are as a church starting September 28th at our North Oak Campus. You’ll get to learn about our core values, strengthen your faith, and connect with some awesome people in the Good Shepherd community. Think of it as a no-pressure test drive of what we’re all about. We’d love for you to join us!

Sunday, October 5th: You and your family are invited to a special moment at Good Shepherd! On October 5th, every Kindergarten and 3rd grade student will receive their very own Bible—a gift to help them start their faith journey. Don’t miss this meaningful experience!

Saturday, October 18th: Mark your calendars for unforgettable afternoon of fall fun! You’re invited to Good Shepherd’s Fall Fun Fest from 12:00 to 6:00 PM at our Gladstone Campus. Enjoy live music, food trucks, and unique finds from local KC vendors while kids play on the free inflatables, decorate pumpkins, and join in on the costume parade! We can’t wait to see you there!

We all need confidants — people we can trust, who show up for us, and who point us back to God. That’s what community looks like. And at Good Shepherd, you don’t have to go searching — you can find your people right here.

Meet Laura, part of our Good Shepherd Production Team:
“I’ve been at Good Shepherd for a year and a half, serving in the tech booth. I got involved because I wanted to be part of something, and a part of the community! What keeps me coming back are the people. They’re so kind, generous, loving, funny, and so so talented. Serving has became one of the best parts of my week!”

Last week we dug into the story of David and Jonathan, and what it really means to have someone in your corner. A true confidant can change everything. How life was never meant to be lived alone. Curious what that looks like? Catch the full message below!
