Most Would Have Gone Home. She Didn’t.

Most people would have gone home. Ruth didn't. This Sunday we're sitting with Ruth and Naomi. Two women who lost everything, and one daughter-in-law who refuses to take the easier way out. What if loyalty isn't a feeling, but a decision that changes everything? Join us Sunday.

May 26th: Something new is taking root at Good Shepherd, and we’d love for you to hear the story behind it. Rooted is our newest outreach ministry, built in partnership with A Turning Point KC to walk alongside newly housed families in our city. Welcome Packs. Move-In Crews. Ongoing community. Come find out where you might fit in this coming Tuesday at 7PM at our North Oak Campus.

May 31st: There’s no better way to step into summer than restored through Baptism. If you’ve been thinking about taking that step, or you’re not even sure what it means yet, we’d love to talk with you. Reach out to us at the connections desk this Sunday, or visit the link below to sign up.

This Summer: Searching for the perfect summer program for your little one? There’s still time to save your spot for Little Lambs Summer Camp running May 26 through August 14 at both campuses. A great summer option for kids six weeks through seven years old!

June 15th: Ever wanted to understand the Bible better but didn’t know where to start? This is your chance. Join Steve Girard and Pastor Bryan Rezen for a 90-minute guided experience through the whole Bible, June 15, 6:30–8PM at North Oak.

June 15-17th: Good Shepherd’s first ever overnight camp is happening this summer, and your 4th–6th grader is going to love it. Three days of faith, friendship, and fun with games, water activities, worship, and leaders they already know and trust.

June 22nd–25th: Searching for some fun this summer? Snowball Mountain Challenge VBS is four nights of high-energy worship, epic games, creative crafts and stories that stick from 6-8PM, June 22–25. Register your kids, sign up to serve or sponsor a child’s full week at the link below!

Last Sunday, we sat with a king who had drifted so far he couldn’t see it anymore, and a friend who loved him too much to look away. Sound familiar? Blind spots rarely feel dangerous. That’s exactly what makes them so hard to see on your own.
