Join us for online worship on Easter Sunday at 9 & 10:30 am.
While we may not be together in person on Easter, we can come together virtually to celebrate the hope that the resurrection brings. We’ll sing songs, hear a message that challenges us to consider what new life can look like, and we’ll experience communion together, all in the comfort of our own homes. Christ's resurrection is ultimately a message of hope, a hope that our world desperately needs every day, but most especially during these days when our lives are far from normal. We encourage you to invite your friends and join us in worshipping online at 9 and 10:30 am on our website, our Good Shepherd Facebook pages or the Good Shepherd KC app. Christ will rise, and that is a hope that ensures that the best is yet to come.
Holy Week Events
Palm Parade: This event has been canceled
In light of the Governor's statewide stay-at-home order, we have decided to cancel this event. We are disappointed, but safety is our top priority. We can't wait until the time when we can be together again.

Maundy Thursday Online Service: Thursday, April 9 at 6 pm
Join us as Pastor Kayla Meredith leads us through a special Maundy Thursday meal on the Gladstone Facebook page. Just as Jesus invited his disciples to partake in the Last Supper, we can share in a meal of faith among believers. By eating and drinking the Lord’s Supper together, we are reminded that Jesus wants us to love each other and to forgive each other. This is the command represented in the word “Maundy.” You are invited to participate in a meal this evening that looks different than a typical family meal, simply adding a candle or two to the table can make it feel like a sacred time together or put a sheet on the floor and partake more authentically by sharing a meal on the floor together.  Also, there are certain food items that were a part of the meal; be creative as most of us won't have all of these items. Choose the ones that work for your family and that you already have on hand!

Good Friday Online Service: Friday, April 10 at 7 pm
Before we celebrate the resurrection on Easter, Christians remember the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross on Good Friday. This service will help us experience Jesus in his last week on Earth. Pastor Fabian Gonzalez will honor the night Christ died by leading us in prayer and worship online.
