Creating Awe Short Study
If you’ve ever experienced a sense of awe, maybe while viewing something breathtaking, you know how transformative it can be. When we experience that type of awe, it reconnects us with goodness, inspires us, and produces gratitude within us. But sometimes it can be easy to lose that sense of awe. Which is why for Lent this year, we are providing a 3-week creative short study via Zoom titled “Creating Awe.” We’ll talk about how awe is a crucial part of our faith journey and of our lives, and we’ll participate in activities facilitated by licensed art therapist Linda Kramer. The study will run from 2-3:30 pm on Sundays, March 7 through 21. Sign up HERE.
Join us for an outdoor worship on Easter Sunday, April 4 at 10:30 am at Oak Grove Park in Gladstone! A kid-friendly Easter egg hunt will be set up for you to enjoy before or after worship.
Sometimes it can feel like darkness has won. It can feel like everything that was good was taken away. It can feel like death is the victor. But then Easter day comes, and we are given new promises: the promise that death does not win. The promise that there is hope for a better tomorrow. The promise that the worst part is never the last part, which allows us to live into the victory.

Stations of the Cross: Friday, April 2
On Friday, April 2 we will be hosting drive-through Stations of the Cross. The drive-through event will consist of seven different stations with people at each one to help you visually and spiritually make a pilgrimage through contemplation of the Passion of Christ. The event will be held at Hawthorne Elementary School (8200 N Chariton, Kansas City MO, 64152) from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. After the "live" event, we will produce a video for those not able to come!
