The last couple of Sundays after service felt a little different. Serve Expo gave everyone a chance to meet our serve teams, ask questions, and find out where they fit. And this past Sunday after service, we said thank you to everyone who makes it happen with a Serve Celebration and a dirty soda bar that may have stole the show.
If you missed it, the recap is on the blog below and it’s not too late to find your place.

This Sunday: New here or not sure where you fit? Stick around after service this Sunday for Pastor Chat, a relaxed chance to meet our team, ask your questions, and learn more about who we are.

October 21: If you are walking through grief this season, you do not have to do it alone. GriefShare is a warm, welcoming group that gives you real support and practical tools for the days ahead. A new daytime session starts Wednesday October 21, meeting from 11AM to 12:30PM at North Oak through January 13.

October 24: Our annual Fall Festival is coming up on October 24th, from 3 to 6 PM at our Gladstone Campus. It’s a family-friendly afternoon for all ages: music, games, a car show, food trucks, inflatables and more, plus free popcorn and soda for everyone. Bring your friends, invite your neighbors, try out your Halloween costumes, and come celebrate the season with us!

October 28: Leaving behind what felt safe, wandering through uncertainty, figuring out who you are becoming on the other side. If that resonates, join us October 28, 6:30 to 8pm at North Oak for Digging Deeper with Jeannine Lindstrom and Pastor Bryan Rezen, exploring the story of the Israelites and what it means for your own.

What has God been up to in your life lately? Whether it is something big or something quiet, a celebration or just a moment you did not expect, we want to hear about it.

Last weekend, we wrapped up Living the Dream, our series on Joseph. Joseph waited years for his life to change, and when the opportunity finally came, it looked nothing like he expected. What he learned is still relevant: what’s placed in our hands is rarely meant to stop with us.
