Worry - Being present - North Oak

Jan 14, 2024    Matt Fulmer

Jesus famously told his disciples not to worry. Paul instructs us to “not be anxious about anything”. Jesus and Paul are speaking to this generalized worry we have about the future. This worry is really rooted in a lens of fear. But too much worry can cause us to resist the positive changes that God wants to bring to our life. As we start a new year, we will challenge one another to set down the suitcase of worry so that we can instead embrace prayer, being in the moment and practicing gratitude.
